LG's Amazing Marketing

LG Ultra high-definition TV screen

It was marketing for 'LG Ultra High-Definition TV Screen' with a prank during the job interview in Chile.
To promote just how life-like images appear on the company’s 82-inch ‘Ultra HD’ TV, LG created a fake office in which one of its screen was positioned to look like a window on the wall.  




The interview process seems totally normal. But the city of landscape starts to change, the blue sky turns black, a meteor emerges from the clouds and suddenly the city explodes and had an earthquake by the conflict with meteor. In addition, they installed real sound and blackout to more reality prank. It made interviewees freaks out, panicking and screaming as they see what they think is their city being destroyed.

This advertisement was successful, because this video has more than 100,000,000 views since it was uploaded in 'YOUTUBE'. 
And in the survey after this advertisement, this TV was sold by people who were attracted by this advertisement.

Most people said, this ad is really freshly and creativity they had never seen before. That reason this video get award for video of the year in 2013.
